BlokhedJelli -The Tenrecs [Devlog #15]

Happy Thursday Folks!

This week I started working on the enemies, hazards, and moving platforms for the Forest World( name coming soon).

Now I would like to introduce you to the first enemy,  the Tenrecs🦔, spikey guys that carry and plant those odd purple flowers🌷.
I wonder who they're working for?

For this guy, I started with basic shapes

After adjusting the size a bit I painted the colors and details.

I chose yellow pants to help the silhouette stand out against the green and blues in the background.

For the bag, I started with a circle. Then, I shaped it before adding some shade variance.

Once I was happy with the shape and shading I gave it a better color and added an outline.

Now to add the mysterious flowers starting with basic shapes.

Then shading and highlights.
